Show Notes Chapter Markers

Awunli Eghosasere is from Nigeria and is the founder of hapiwify.site, a digital platform that publishes resources to help young women to achieve their dreams. She is also a Christain women speaker and writer. For the past seven years, she has contributed to several leading blogs, magazines and newspapers on women issues.

I truly enjoyed my conversation with Awunli and was struck by the universality of the modern motherhood experience even as we mother from the USA and Nigeria, respectively.

I hope you are inspired by Awunli's honesty and tenacity as she worked through the challenges of her early motherhood experience to pursue her dreams and inspire women on their own journeys.

Quotable Quotes:

Awunli:  When I was in school, I didn’t really think a woman’s life was this hectic or that a woman would encounter these kinds of challenges—this invisible barrier between her and her dreams when she gets married and starts having children. I had never thoughts of anything like that. No one told me.

Motherhood can make you feel like your dreams cannot be realized. I would want other women to know that it is only for a while.

Brittany: Even if the path looks different than you thought, you can still find joy in finding out new  ways of being yourself.
