Kathy Radigan is a writer, blogger, mom to three, wife to one, and the one time owner of a possessed appliance. She has fun exploring midlife, marriage and raising teens and a college kid on her blog, My Dishwasher's Possessed! And sharing her experience as a parent to a daughter with significant disabilities on  The Special Needs Nest by Kathy Radigan.

Sometimes, becoming a mother looks nothing like we planned. In this episode, Kathy shares about having multiple miscarriages before she was able to carry her first baby to term and how those losses shaped her as a woman and mother on her unique journey.

As a mom to a special needs daughter, Kathy reflects on how becoming an advocate for herself during her miscarriages helped her to gain the confidence to become an advocate in the medical world for her daughter years later.

With strength and humor, Kathy shares how she made it through the dark years of loss and how she learned to hold onto hope.
