The Motherhood Metamorphosis
Sierra Buck: Becoming a first-time mom during the pandemic
Show Notes

Sierra Buck is the mom of an absurdly good-natured baby, the owner of an unforgivably spoiled puppy, and the wife of the kindest man on Earth. She is a budding writer who recently graduated with her MFA in Creative Nonfiction and has become a professional rejection letter recipient on her quest to getting published. Because she became a mom while in grad school *during* the pandemic, she is basically a hermit, and is going a little crazy.

Sierra and I do a deep dive into what it was like to become a first time mom during the pandemic and what a unique and difficult situation it was for women. We talk about making difficult decisions, feeling isolated, fear of the unknown, giving birth without your support people,  dealing with postpartum in a vacuum, and how the difficulties of the last 2-3 years has shaped her as a woman and a mom.

If you became a mom in 2020-2021, this episode is for you. It's honest, affirming, encouraging, and holds space for both grief and growth.
